Соняшник - сакральна рослина в українській культурі. Важко уявити оселю, коло якої не ростуть ці маленькі сонечки. Соняшник, опалений вогнем війни, став символом Іловайської трагедії: серед соняшникових полів гинули наші бійці, серед соняшників рятувалися ті, кому пощастило вижити... Насіння соняшника радили класти в кишені загарбників, аби їх нікчемним життям надати хоч який сенс... Жовтий колір - колір національного прапору України, колір сонця, колір тепла і надії. А соняшник - то є квітка, що завжди повертається до сонця! Україні -щасливій, веселій, незалежній- бути! І нехай соняшники, намальовані нашою Вірою Сенчук і придбані вами, допоможуть в цьому.

The sunflower is a sacred plant in Ukrainian culture. It is difficult to imagine a house around which these little suns do not grow. The sunflower, scorched by the fire of war, became a symbol of the Ilovaysk tragedy: our soldiers died in the sunflower fields, and survivors saved themselves among them. Sunflower seeds were advised to be put in the pockets of the invaders in order to give their useless lives at least some meaning ... Yellow is the color of the national flag of Ukraine, the color of the sun, the color of warmth and of hope. And a sunflower always turns to face the sun! Ukraine - be happy, cheerful, independent! And let the sunflowers painted by our Vera Senchuk and bought by you aid in this.
