HELEN LORRAINE OSSWALD
(née SAWCZENKO)
On Friday, August 7, 2020, after a six and a half year courageous battle with cancer, Helen departed this life to be with the Lord. Helen was born in Bisset, MB in 1954.
She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory, husband of 42 years, Helmut Osswald, two sons, Adam and Matthew Osswald (Sarah); grandchild Lenni; brother, Very Rev. Mykola Sawchenko and Dobrodiyka Betty (Tanya and Gregory (Orysia)). Predeceased by her parents, Alexander and Tatjana Sawczenko, and grandmother Anastasia Migachova.
Pallbearers: Ryan Drul, Andrij Haraschuk, Joe Rozmus, Gregory Sawchenko, John Senyk and Alan Witnicki.
Due to Covid the funeral will be private. Future memorial services to follow.
The family wishes to thank the caring and compassionate staff at palliative care Hôpital Saint-Boniface.
